“Youth of May” continues its quiet start this week!

According to Nielsen Korea, the second episode of “Youth of May,” which aired on May 4, garnered average nationwide ratings of 3.7 and 4.7 percent.

This is similar to the average nationwide ratings of 4.4 and 4.9 percent that it garnered during its premiere on May 3. Its predecessor in this time slot, “River Where the Moon Rises,” started off with ratings of 9.4 percent and ended on ratings of 8.4 percent.

“Youth of May” is a new melodrama starring Lee Do Hyun and Go Min Si as two youths who fall in love against the backdrop of May 1980, a historically significant time period in South Korea.

“Youth of May” is currently the only Monday-Tuesday evening drama that airs in this time slot. Next week, tvN’s “Doom at Your Service” will make its premiere in this time slot.
