Yoo Seung Jun Denies Reports That He Is Trying To Become Naturalized In Korea – KpopHit

Yoo Seung Jun has spoken out against reports that he is attempting to become naturalized in Korea after the Seoul High Court recently ruled against the ban of his Korean visa.

On November 20, Yoo Seung Jun took to his Instagram to post screenshots of news articles about him, calling out several reporters by name and saying in his caption, “I contacted you through my lawyer to have these articles corrected or taken down, but they are still up as they were.”

He referenced an interview given by his lawyer following the ruling and continued, “In the interview, Lawyer Kim explicitly used the word ‘contribute,’ but articles misinterpreting the word as ‘naturalize’ have been released. Furthermore, ‘discretionary power’ was reported as ‘property rights.’ These words have completely different meanings from what Lawyer Kim intended.”

He concluded, “If you heard it wrong, please correct your articles. I think you didn’t do it on purpose. However, these unclear articles cannot spread misinformation like this. I ask for your cooperation.”

This statement comes after a phone interview given by lawyer Kim Hyung Soo to Channel A News on November 19, in which he conveyed Yoo Seung Jun’s position on his situation and the recent ruling. As part of his comments, he remarked, “Yoo Seung Jun has unintentionally caused discomfort and concern among many citizens. To express his apologetic heart, he will think of ways to contribute to the country if he returns to Korea.”
