TXT is still going strong on the Billboard 200 with their latest album!
The group’s second studio album “The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE,” which debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard 200 back in June, has now become the first K-pop album of 2021 to spend twelve weeks on the chart. (Billboard’s famous Top 200 Albums chart, commonly referred to as “the Billboard 200,” is its weekly ranking of the most popular albums in the United States).
For the week ending on September 18, “The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE” came in at No. 78, extending its own record as the longest-charting K-pop album of the year.
“The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE” also extended its own record as the longest-charting K-pop album of 2021 on several other Billboard charts, including the World Albums chart (where it stayed strong at No. 2 in its 15th week), Top Album Sales chart (No. 7 in its 14th week), and Top Current Album Sales chart (No. 7 in its 15th week). Additionally, the album ranked No. 4 on Billboard’s Tastemaker Albums chart this week.
Meanwhile, TXT’s latest title track “LO$ER=LO♡ER” rose to No. 10 in its fourth week on Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales chart, and the group charted at No. 46 on this week’s Artist 100.
