They Used To Compete On Music Shows — After Quitting Idol-Life They Started A Business Together

13 years ago, AOA’s Yuna and Tahiti’s Jisoo debuted as girl group idols and competed for music show wins. Much, much later, they worked together in a completely different industry.

Former AOA member Yuna was the main vocal and keyboardist of the girl group. She was also in the AOA sub-groups AOA Black and AOA Cream.

Two months after officially leaving AOA and FNC Entertainment in 2021, Yuna said she got her yoga instructor certification. She is living her best life—leading a completely different life from her idol activities—as a Pilates and yoga instructor and working as a songwriter under the name e.Na.

Yuna is also part of a duo called 쑤유나, or SooYuna, along with fellow third-generation girl group member, Jisoo. Jisoo was a member of Tahiti who also debuted in 2012, the same year AOA debuted.

In March 2017, it was announced that Jisoo would take a temporary leave from Tahiti because of her panic disorder and depression. Nine months later, she officially left the group and became a Pilates instructor. She also operates a private studio called Soo Pilates. She got married in 2021 to a non-celebrity.

Jisoo and Yuna ended up teaching Pilates and working together as Sooyuna, uploading “SooYuna home workout” videos on social media and teaching classes together.
