“The Fiery Priest” PD Lee Myung Woo Leaves SBS + Working On New Drama Based On Hit Webtoon – KpopHit

“The Fiery Priest” producing director (PD) Lee Myung Woo is heading a new drama!

“Convenience Store Saet Byul” (working title) is based on a webtoon of the same name and follows the whimsical romance between a quirky and mischievous part-time worker and her handsome but clumsy manager at a convenience store.

This will be Lee Myung Woo’s first project since departing from SBS, having already shown his wide spectrum in directing through projects like SBS’s “You’re All Surrounded,” “Punch,” and “Whisper.” Viewers are anticipating another hit comedy from the director as he takes on the cheeky love story of the unique characters of “Convenience Store Saet Byul.”

“Convenience Store Saet Byul” is scheduled to begin casting at the end of October and premiere in Fall 2020.
