Sources state that the trespasser invaded the dressing room of a musical theater in Seoul. After entering, the woman threatened an actor with a weapon, leading Kyuhyun, who was on site, to restrain the offender and sustain minor injuries during the process.

Kyuhyun’s agency Antenna responded to the reports and informed iMBC Entertainment. The company shared that the idol received an abrasion to his finger and was treated immediately.

“Kyuhyun suffered a minor abrasion on his finger and was treated instantly on the spot,” Antenna shared.

The agency also confirmed the incident, “It is true that there was a violent rampage at the musical venue on the 19th. We are currently sorting out our stance.”

At first, Kyuhyun hesitated to answer and jokingly questioned if it was okay to disclose his answer in a variety show. The idol eventually replied that moving to Antenna was due to his yearning to discover and try out new kinds of music.

Moreover, Kyuhyun assured them that he’s still associated with SM Entertainment since he still has activities with his longtime group Super Junior. The singer shared:

“I moved to Antenna since I wanted to try new kinds of music. As a member of Super Junior, I made a separate contract. Nothing changed.”

On August 7, Kyuhyun joined Antenna by signing an exclusive contract with the company. The agency is also owned by popular TV personality and comedian Yoo Jae Sook. It is also the company of artists such as Lee Hyori and Yoo Hee Yeol.
