While fans are waiting for Stray Kids’ shows in North America, the tour date announcement has also sparked criticism.
K-pop’s global fanbase continues to grow, with popular bands like BTS and BLACKPINK leading the charge. Meanwhile, Stray Kids are steadily carving out their own space in the industry. With new songs and worldwide concerts, the group is leaving no stone unturned. Stray Kids recently announced the North American leg of their Dominate World Tour (known as ), which will include eight stops across the USA and Canada.
While many STAYs (fans of Stray Kids) are eagerly anticipating the band’s performances, the tour date announcement has also sparked criticism. Some fans expressed disappointment over the short notice, leaving them with limited time to plan and secure tickets. Taking to X (formerly Twitter), fans expressed disappointment.
One of them wrote, “Why would we not announce tour dates now and do ticket sales in 2025?”
“No, but genuinely announcing tour dates and then tickets going on sale the same week when they just had an album last week and another one in a couple weeks with holidays coming up is actually insane,” expressed a fan.

Another said, “Stray kids tickets going on sale before the holidays and it’s a summer tour .. you’re nasty.”
In addition to the criticism over the short notice, fans are also frustrated by one of the announced venues for Stray Kids’ Dominate World Tour. According to Koreaboo, the group is set to perform at Rogers Stadium in Toronto on June 29, but the catch is that the venue is still under construction. It is expected to open in 2025 and have a capacity of 50,000.

If the construction of Rogers Stadium is completed on time, Stray Kids could make history as the first K-pop group to perform at the venue—and potentially the first artist ever to take the stage there.
While Stray Kids are set to take over North America soon, they recently wrapped up their concerts in Japan on November 14, 16, and 17. Next, the group will perform in the Philippines on November 23, before heading to Macau for shows on November 29 and 30. The eight-member boy band includes— Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, HAN, Felix, Seungmin and I.N.
