Tecate Pa’l Norte, the annual music festival, has unveiled its lineup for the 2025 edition. The organisers shared the exciting news on their Instagram account, revealing the impressive list of performers set to take the stage during the three-day event at Parque Fundidora in Monterrey, Mexico. Among the standout names is the popular K-pop boy group SEVENTEEN, adding to the festival’s star-studded roster.

According to the announcement, the 13-member South Korean group will perform on April 4, the first day of the festival. SEVENTEEN, who made their debut in 2015, is considered one of the most popular K-pop bands of contemporary times. Over the years, they have enthralled their fans with a wide range of music. Some of their notable work includes Super, Very Nice, Rock With You, God of Music and Maestro, among others.

Apart from SEVENTEEN, other renowned artists like Olivia Rodrigo, Justin Timberlake, Charli XCX, The Chainsmokers, Black Keys, Green Day, Massive Attack, Kings of Leon, Caifanes, Fall Out Boy, Garbage and Benson Boone are also part of the 14th edition of Tecate Pa’l Norte music festival. According to the organisers, the 2025 edition will feature around 180 musical acts across nine stages. Moreover, the upcoming edition will commence on April 4 and conclude on April 6, and the festival tickets will be available from November 5.

In other news, the K-pop boy group SEVENTEEN has been garnering a lot of limelight ever since its parent company HYBE’s internal documents got leaked online. On October 24, at the National Assembly’s Culture, Sports and Tourism Committee audit, it was brought to light that the entertainment company had a weekly report that was being sent to the top executives of HYBE. The said documents criticised K-pop artists from other agencies, reports on the idols belonging to their company and marketing tactics.

Reportedly, 20 pages out of the 18,000-page document were leaked online. After that, Seungkwan, a member of SEVENTEEN, shared a long note through his social media account, venting his frustration. He lent his support to NewJeans members, who have been under the radar of HYBE ever since ADOR’s former CEO Min Hee Jin locked horns with the parent label. Despite HYBE’s criticism of other K-pop groups, Seungkwan gave a shoutout to NMIXX by sharing a picture of a heartfelt note that one of its members, Haewon, wrote to him.

The same documents also revealed that HYBE was closely monitoring the dating rumours of its idols, especially SEVENTEEN’s Joshua and Mingyu.
