KBS’s new Wednesday-Thursday drama, “Forest,” has gotten off to a strong start!
The drama premiered on January 29 at the top of its time slot in the public broadcasting category (excluding cable channels). According to Nielsen Korea, it recorded nationwide average ratings of 7.1 and 7.4 percent. This is only a slight decrease from the finale ratings of its predecessor, “Woman of 9.9 Billion” (6.8 and 8.5 percent).
In the same time slot, SBS’s variety show “Because I Want to Talk” recorded ratings of 2.1 and 2.2 percent and MBC’s variety show “True Story” recorded ratings of 4.7 and 7.1 percent.
On the same day, but airing an hour earlier, MBC’s “The Game: Towards Zero” recorded ratings of 3.1 and 4.2 percent, a slight increase from last week’s ratings.
