South Korean netizens have recently files a petition to the government asking that official birth names of internet comment writers be disclosed from now on.

The reason why this is happening is because netizens believe Sulli decided to kill herself because she couldn’t cope with the overwhelming number of hate comments directed towards her.

And because comments are written as anonymous writers or through nicknames, it is quite difficult to keep track of who is writing what on the internet.

And of course, netizens have also demanded that the government find hate comment writers of Sulli’s and punish them.

It is well known amongst K-Pop fans that Sulli received a lot of hate comments from netizens and was a controversial figure in the scene.

However what has happened is highly unfortunate and our condolences go out to her family and loved ones.
