Main Vocalist Of Girl Group Makes Wish Come True With Performance On “The King Of Mask Singer”

The identity of Spring Rain on MBC’s “The King of Mask Singer” was revealed to be the main vocalist of a girl group who made her 2019 wish come true!

The episode of “The King of Mask Singer” that aired on March 24 followed the contestants as they battled it out to be crowned the next king. The second round was between Small Rice Cake Rice Cake and Spring Rain, with the former singing a powerful rendition of Ailee’s “Singing Got Better” and the latter performing Hyorin’s “Goodbye.”


In the end, Small Rice Cake Rice Cake moved on to the next round with a score of 68 to 31. Spring Rain took off her mask to reveal that it was none other than LABOUM’s Soyeon.

Oh My Girl’s Hyojung had guessed her identity correctly, and Soyeon revealed that they are close friends. She had everyone laughing when she jokingly said, “I thought I was going to be upset if she didn’t recognize me, but I think I’m more upset that she did.”

When asked how she felt about appearing on the show, Soyeon said, “In an interview earlier this year, I talked about wanting to appear on this show, and I’ve achieved that goal in such a short amount of time.” She added, “When I heard that I’d be on the show, I was outside drinking a beverage. I was so shocked that I couldn’t find myself to drink or do anything. It felt like a dream.” Soyeon concluded her stage by asking everyone to continue loving LABOUM.
