LE SSERAFIM has recently been on tour and had their final US stop in Mexico City.

During the show, a netizen shared a video of the members singing and dancing in a Mexican sombrero and poncho.

The clip went viral, but sparked immensely mixed reactions.

Some thought that it was racist and problematic, seemingly implying that it was cultural appropriation.

Yet, many fans defended the girls and claimed that it was actually non-Mexicans who were sharing anger when most fans actually loved what the members did, calling it appreciation rather than something offensive.

The topic of cultural appropriation is rampant in K-Pop, but many think that netizens sometimes take it too far and are too quick to criticize.
