Jo Se Ho And Nam Chang Hee Stepping Down From “Weekly Idol” + Super Junior’s Eunhyuk To Be Special MC – KpopHit

“Weekly Idol” hosts Jo Se Ho and Nam Chang Hee will be leaving the show.

On February 12, a source from MBC MUSIC shared, “Jo Se Ho and Nam Chang Hee are stepping down from ‘Weekly Idol.’ For now, the show will be hosted by Kwanghee and special MCs. MBC MUSIC will be changing its name to MBC M starting February 18. The change [of hosts] is one of the changes being made along with the [channel name] change.”

The show will air its final episode with the three current hosts on February 12. Super Junior’s Eunhyuk will join the February 19 episode as the first special MC.

“Weekly Idol” will be going through a few other changes along with the aforementioned ones. The ‘Random Play Dance’ will be returning to the show after being voted as the best segment by viewers. A new segment called “VS Project” will involve idols reenacting footage of their pre-debut selves acting, singing, or dancing. Viewers will be able to see how much the idols have grown since their debut.
