BTS Thanks Fans And Celebrates Jimin’s Birthday At First Ever Concert In Saudi Arabia – KpopHit

On October 12 at 1:30 a.m. KST, BTS held their first ever concert in Saudi Arabia, in Riyadh at the King Fahd International Stadium.

The concert was a part of the group’s “Love Yourself: Speak Yourself” tour, and the BTS members expressed their thanks and amazement at performing somewhere they’ve never been before.

Jungkook said ahead of the group’s performance of “WINGS,” “You gave us wings to fly all the way here from Korea.”

V added, “There are so many fans here. It’s hard to believe that we can fill a stadium like this. Just being here feels so good. We’d love to come back next time, and I think we’ll be able to go home happy after having seen all of you. Thank you so much.”

Suga said, “This is our first performance in Saudi Arabia. We were so surprised because you all were so energetic.”

Jin commented that performances with ARMY are always fun, and he said, “I love our members, who really had fun performing tonight, and I really love ARMY.”

Jimin said, “Because of you, I really felt tonight that there are a lot of people who support us. We’ll work even harder to give back that love.”

“These cheers, this atmosphere, I really missed it,” said J-Hope. “I was really nervous, but I was also so happy to see all of you for the first time in a long time. Thank you so much for such a meaningful concert.”

RM concluded, “We didn’t know we could perform here. Thank you for inviting us, and thank you all for coming to see us. I think we’ll remember this moment even after we go back.”

The BTS members also surprised Jimin for his birthday, which is on October 13. Jimin said, “Tonight is truly a night that I won’t be able to forget.”

“Thinking of seeing you, I had forgotten it was my birthday. Thank you for the happy birthday wishes, and it’s a good day, being able to spend my birthday with my fellow BTS members. Thank you.”
