BTS Earns Halsey, MAX & Lauv’s Support After Getting Harsh Remarks + Matthias Matuschik Didn’t Intend to Hurt ARMYs – KpopHit

BTS continues its streak on numerous audio streaming platforms and music charts worldwide. However, alongside their undeniable success, Jin, Jimin, Jungkook, J-Hope, V, RM and Suga have also received criticisms and disparagements lately.

BTS Gets Support From LAUV, Halsey and MAX After Amid Criticisms

On Saturday, Feb. 27, numerous music artist came to the defense of BTS after the group received racist comments from German radio DJ Matthias Matuschik. Lauv was among the very first artists who spoke up in support of Jin, Jimin, Jungkook, J-Hope, V, RM and Suga.

In a post share on his official Twitter account, Lauv said that he is standing by BTS and to everyone who are continuously getting racist remarks. The “I Like Me Better” hitmaker shared that no should ever experience and endure this kid of maltreatment, adding that everyone must stand up and stop it.

MAX, also, released a statement after learning about the denigrations BTS received from the German radio DJ. The singer said that Jin, Jimin, Jungkook, J-Hope, V, RM and Suga are among the hardest working and most humble people he knows in the industry, making them so deserving of all the success they have earned through the years.

The “Blueberry Eyes” singer said hearing the hateful words used against the South Korean boyband made him sick. MAX even shared that hating BTS and the entire Asian community is totally unacceptable.

Halsey, for her part, posted a message on her Instagram story in support of BTS. The American singer-songwriter divulged that she was horrified after hearing the comments of Matthias Matuschik, adding that saying irresponsible and disgusting statements amid the skyrocketing hate and violence towards Asian communities is very intolerable.

The “Without Me” singer hopes that the DJ would apologize to BTS. Aside from Jin, Jimin, Jungkook, J-Hope, V, RM and Suga, she also wants DJ Matthias Matuschik to say sorry to all Asian communities across the globe.

DJ Responds After Being Accused of Making Racist Comments About BTS

Meanwhile, German radio DJ Matthias Matuschik gave a statement to Buzzfeed Germany recently, in response to the allegations that he made racist comments about BTS. He said that the nationality of Jin, Jimin, Jungkook, J-Hope, V, RM and Suga had no bearing on his remarks and added that avid followers of the group might have misunderstood his words.

Matthias stated he was unhappy that his comments were being distorted in the context of the presently famous racist stick. Most, if not all, fans are fully aware that the DJ discussed BTS’ cover of “Fix You” by Coldplay earlier this week.

To everyone’s surprise, DJ Matthias Matuschik compared BTS to the COVID-19, stating he hopes that a vaccine would be available very soon for the band. Though he initially said that he had nothing against South Korea, the disc jockey said he did not like seeing Jin, Jimin, Jungkook, J-Hope, V, RM and Suga proudly covering “Fix You” by Coldplay.

The comments of DJ Matthias Matuschik rapidly spread on social media, with devoted followers of BTS expressing their disgust to his racist comments. Station Bayern 3, in a statement, claimed that Matuschik did not intent to hurt the feelings of the ARMYS.
