BTS and BLACKPINK Lead July 2025 K-Pop Brand Reputation Rankings

The July 2025 brand reputation rankings for K-pop groups are here. BTS and BLACKPINK lead the rankings for their respective groups. Find the complete top 50 list for both boy and girl groups below.

July 2025 K-Pop Boy and Girl Group Brand Reputation Rankings

The Korean Business Research Institute analyzed 62,605,126 pieces of K-pop boy group brand big data from June 12 to July 12, 2025. This figure is an 8.76% from 68,619,576 pieces recorded in June. As a result, BTS, SEVENTEEN, BIGBANG, SHINee, and EXO claimed the top five spots in the July 2025 rankings.

For K-pop girl group brand reputation rankings in July 2025, the institute analyzed 58,566,893 pieces of K-pop girl group brand big data from June 13 to July 13, 2025. This number represents a 10.40% increase from the 53,051,005 data points in June. According to the result, BLACKPINK, IVE, TWICE, Red Velvet, and OH MY GIRL dominated the top five spots in the K-pop girl group brand reputation rankings in July 2025.

July 2025 Boy Group Brand Rankings: #1 BTS

BTS rose to the top spot in this month’s rankings. Their brand value reached 10,128,031. This number marks a 47.99% increase from their June score of 6,843,685.

All the members completed their military service last June. During their first full-group live broadcast in three years, they announced a full comeback for 2026. Their comeback will include a new album and a world tour, exciting fans worldwide.

Link analysis revealed the group’s most related terms. These were “congratulate,” “release,” and “surpass.” Moreover, their top keywords included “ARMY Day,” “Forever We Are Young,” and “full group,” as the group’s most popular keywords. Additionally, the group earned a 94.91% positive score in the positivity-negativity analysis.

SEVENTEEN dropped to the second position in July’s rankings. Their brand value fell by 11.34%, decreasing from 7,027,417 in June to 6,230,280 in July. The group’s agency announced that SEVENTEEN members Woozi and Hoshi will enlist in September this year. Meanwhile, S.Coups and Mingyu will reportedly form a new unit.

BIGBANG held onto their spot at third place from May 2025. However, their brand value dropped by 22.60%, falling from 4,318,118 in June to 3,342,244 in July.

SHINee remained in fourth place. Their brand value declined by 29.78%, dropping from 3,639,299 in June to 2,555,566 in June.

Finally, EXO rounded out the top five for K-pop boy group brand reputation rankings in July 2025. Their brand value rose by 9.32%, increasing from 2,218,559 in June to 2,425,301 in July.

July 2025 Girl Group Brand Rankings: #1 BLACKPINK

BLACKPINK, recently kicked off their “Deadline” world tour at Goyang Stadium and released their new single “JUMP,” staying strong in the top spot for July. The girl group, which ranked first since May, reached a brand reputation index of 8,488,643. This figure marks a 35.20% increase from 6,278,657 in June to 8,488,643 in July. 

Link analysis revealed that their most popular related terms included “comeback,” “perform,” and “all-kill.”Meanwhile, in the keyword analysis, their top keywords were “JUMP,” “full group,” and “Goyang concert.” The group gained a 94.69% positive score in the positivity-negativity analysis.

IVE, who made history as the first K-pop girl group to perform at Lollapalooza Berlin, held the second position in July’s rankings. Their brand value increased by 1.88%, from 4,997,842 in June to 5,091,757 in July.

TWICE, who recently made a comeback with the new album “THIS IS FOR,” soared to third place. The girl group’s brand value increased by 33.94%, rising from 2,974,032 in June to 3,983,562 in July.

Red Velvet dropped to fourth place in July’s ranking. Despite the drop, their brand value rose 17.78%. It increased from 3,072,798 in June to 3,618,989 in July.

OH MY GIRL completed the top five list for July. Their brand value increased by 4.09%, from 2,331,912 in June to 2,427,175 in July.
