Big Ocean, the world’s first K-pop group composed entirely of deaf members, is set to embark on its first European tour since debuting, the group’s agency announced Wednesday.

The group’s upcoming European tour, “Underwater,” will take place throughout April, Parastar Entertainment announced in a press release. The tour’s title, according to the label, symbolizes the group’s wish to “awaken their potential hidden beneath the surface to unveil a new side of artistic expression.”

The tour will begin in Lausanne, Switzerland, on April 19 and 20, with additional stops in Milan on April 23, London on April 24, Paris on April 26 and Montpellier, France, on April 27.

The three Big Ocean members — Hyunjin, Chanyeon and Jiseok — expressed excitement about the tour, reflecting on their past international performances.

“The memories of meeting our fans at ‘K-EXPO FRANCE 2024’ last October remain a joyful experience,” the group said in the statement. “We are thrilled and excited to meet not only our fans in France again but also ‘Pado’ (Big Ocean’s official fandom) from other regions who have supported us since before our debut.”

In addition to the European tour, Big Ocean has been invited as the only K-pop artist to perform at “Anime Friends 2025” in Sao Paulo, Brazil, on July 3. Later that month, the group is also scheduled to attend the “AI for Good Global Summit” in Geneva, Switzerland, following an official invitation from the International Telecommunication Union, a specialized agency of the United Nations.

Big Ocean made history as the first K-pop group composed entirely of deaf members. Since their official debut in April 2024, the trio has released a series of songs such as “GLOW,” “BLOW” and “SLOW,” promoting messages of inclusivity and hope to fans worldwide.

Most recently, the group recently held its first solo concert, “Follow,” in Nagoya, Japan, successfully wrapping up the event on Sunday.
