When Does Jisoo’s Solo Album ‘Amortage’ Come Out?
Jisoo will premiere “a montage of love,” or Amortage, on Valentine’s day — February 14, 2025.
With Amortage, Jisoo joins her fellow BLACKPINK members as they embark on individual music ventures. Rosé released her album Rosie in December 2024, which included her viral single “APT” featuring Bruno Mars. Meanwhile, Lisa is gearing up to release her album Alter Ego, in February 28, and Jennie will drop her debut studio album Ruby, out on March 7.
While the girls have been focusing on their solo careers with their respective individual music labels, they will return to YG Entertainment, BLACKPINK’s original company, for a comeback some time in 2025.
“Of course we’re continuing, for sure,” Lisa told Elle Magazine in August 2024. “We’re so proud of BLACKPINK, and I love BLACKPINK. It is not just because of our fans, it’s for ourselves,” adding, “there was no doubt. This is our life.”
Jennie expressed similar sentiments during an interview with Billboard from January 2025.
“I’m excited to see what everyone brings. You know, everyone took their own journey [during] this time, and I’m excited to share that with the girls,” she gushed. “I want to say it’s going to be the most powerful [versions] of ourselves that anyone has seen.”

Jisoo first teased the album a few weeks ago with a social media teaser depicting an ECG graphic of a heartbeat. This marks her first release since making her solo debut in 2023 with her double-single “Flower” and “All Eyes on Me.”
“I’m not sure how much I want to go solo yet,” Jisoo told Rolling Stone in 2022. “The music I listen to, the music I can do, and the music I want to do — what should I choose? I love songs with lots of instruments. I love different bands and rock music. What do people want from me? There’s a chaos of conflicting questions. So I’m still tilting my head in confusion. I’m not sure what will happen with my solo plans this year.”
